Digital transparency for underground logistics: TMS extends Herrenknecht.Connected to Multi-Service Vehicles

The digital transformation of tunnelling continues to gain momentum. As part of the Herrenknecht Group’s digital ecosystem, TMS is expanding the capabilities of Herrenknecht.Connected to include Multi-Service Vehicles (MSVs), providing customers with enhanced transparency, data availability and operational insights throughout the vehicle lifecycle.

A shared digital platform for the entire tunnelling process

Herrenknecht.Connected is the common digital platform of the Herrenknecht Group, bringing together data from multiple disciplines into one centralized customer portal. By integrating information from tunnel boring machines, navigation systems, separation plants, conveyor systems, segment production and logistics solutions, the platform provides a comprehensive view of tunnelling operations.

Accessible via a web-based interface from anywhere in the world, Herrenknecht.Connected enables project teams to monitor machine status, analyze operational data and facilitates communication within the project team while supporting quick responses on site. The transparent documentation of processes and machine data also creates the foundation for continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.

Digital transparency for every Multi-Service Vehicle

With the integration of TMS Multi-Service Vehicles, Herrenknecht.Connected is extending these capabilities to underground logistics.
Dedicated dashboards provide operators and project teams with real-time information on each individual MSV, including operating status, mileage, engine hours and selected sensor data such as fuel or system levels. Automated analysis tools provide insights into key operating parameters, making vehicle data accessible anytime and from anywhere.
By combining proven maintenance concepts with digital transparency, TMS helps customers monitor the condition and performance of their MSV fleet while supporting reliable operation throughout every project phase.

A platform that continues to evolve

The integration of MSVs into Herrenknecht.Connected marks another step toward connected tunnelling, where machines, logistics systems and digital services work together as one intelligent ecosystem.

As the platform continues to evolve, TMS will further expand its digital services, providing customers with even greater transparency and additional insights into the operation and performance of their Multi-Service Vehicles.
